Quick answers
The AI email rewriting, SMS rewriting, and caption generation features require Apple Intelligence, which is available on iPhone 16 / iPhone 15 Pro or later running iOS 18.1 or newer.
To enable it:
- Open Settings on your iPhone
- Tap Apple Intelligence & Siri
- Toggle Apple Intelligence on
- Wait for the model to finish downloading (this can take a few minutes on Wi-Fi)
- Return to Anchovy — the AI buttons should now be active
If you're on an older device, the AI features will be hidden automatically. The rest of the app — client management, templates, realtor outreach, and the pipeline — works on all supported iPhones.
There are a few reasons this can happen:
- Apple Intelligence is off — go to Settings → Apple Intelligence & Siri and enable it
- Model still downloading — Apple Intelligence downloads in the background; check Settings to see progress
- Device not eligible — AI features require iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 16, or newer
- Trial or Pro required — AI features are part of the free trial and Anchovy Pro. If your trial has ended, upgrade to continue using them
Email sending through Anchovy's built-in system (Resend) requires an active Anchovy Pro subscription or an active trial. Without it, email will open in your default Mail app instead.
If you're on Pro and still having issues, make sure you're signed into your Anchovy account — the email system requires authentication. Try signing out and back in from Settings.
Open the Studio tab, tap Social, then tap the LinkedIn platform card. You'll see a Connect Account option. Tap it and sign in with your LinkedIn credentials in the browser that opens.
Once connected, the "Post" button will appear on LinkedIn prompt cards and your posts will go directly to your feed without leaving Anchovy.
Yes. Sign in with the same account on each device and your client data, pipeline, and settings will sync automatically via the cloud. Make sure you're connected to the internet when signing in for the first time on a new device.
Anchovy Pro is billed through the App Store, so you cancel directly through Apple:
- Open Settings on your iPhone
- Tap your name at the top → Subscriptions
- Find Anchovy Pro and tap it
- Tap Cancel Subscription
Your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period.
Your data is automatically backed up to the cloud whenever you're signed in. For your realtor contacts specifically, you can export them as a CSV from the Realtors tab in Studio using the export button in the top right.
Full client data export is on the roadmap. If you need it urgently, contact us and we'll help manually.
This can occasionally happen during a major update if the local data structure changed. If you were signed into your account, your data should still be in the cloud — try signing out and back in from Settings to trigger a sync.
